Elizabeth Finley

SHe/Her | Empathetic UX DESIGN

I am inspired by human-centered thinking to design exceptionally accessible product experiences.

Throughout the design process, I advocate for methods that prioritize inclusivity, empathy, systems thinking, collaboration, and research driven iteration.

My goal is to craft engaging experiences that are models of innovative thinking and elevate users' lived experiences.

In my free time, I browse vintage shops, practice film photography, cycle, add to my To Be Read book stack, and volunteer with local charities.

Reading, meeting people, learning new skills, and traveling are all sources of inspiration and help me to grow as a designer.

FILM PHOTOGRAPHY

FILM PHOTOGRAPHY

I shoot on a 1978 Canon A-1 with the original lens. The patina of vintage gear grants increased visual interest and historicity to photos. My favorite films are Gold and Portra.

My next photography projects are to retrofit an antique  Brownie for use with modern film and learn to use a vintage Leica.
